Neuromuscular Diseases

A disorder that affects the nerves responsible for controlling voluntary muscles as well as the nerves that relay sensory information to the brain. Neuromuscular Diseases cause cells to become unhealthy and die which leads to muscle weakness and fatigue throughout the body. Neuromuscular Diseases can appear during any stage of life and have a range of symptoms including issues with balance and movement, numbness or tingling, double vision, trouble breathing, and more.
